Studio Mural Panel
Brief: to decorate large OSB board, so luckily it is sheltered from worst of the weather, so undercoated it.
Design was a fusion of its left hand french-door panel shapes, and its right hand Shiplap panelling drawn across. I then designed over 18 of the strips with flowing arcs in sets of 2, 3 , & 6. The "2 one" being a wide "S" shape to include the 19th panel. Then messed with the colours over a sunny summer

I created this piece after our tree died, and as a builder I have a store (too large) of saved materials that will come in handy later, so this was an opportunity to clear a section of my shed, and constructively make something.
I did suffer a little from creative censorship, as I had originally wound the spiral down and around much lower to the ground, but was sternly reminded that grandchildren played in the garden so the spiral was raised as far up as I could go.
This endured for quite a number of years, until one autumn and the whole stump just broke off rotten. (great for log burner)
I then disassembled the materials for potential reuse; the head is still knocking around and looking for a "safe" home, I tried hanging it but "Health & Safety" intervened. The upcycled joist hangers though now have a new life, having been beaten flat (2D) on my anvil and have been arranged finally on an upcycled sheet of distressed ply.

Yes, it is for Sale, it is a bit heavy so would need a sturdy wall fixing, like a large mirror.
Am awaiting my sale photo details to be posted.
